A group of 14 young adults participating in the New Providence Vacation Bible School built a deck and handicapped ramp to allow a disabled Buena Vista couple to enjoy the therapy of sunshine and fresh air.
In July 2011, workers from New Providence, Bethesda, and Lexington Presbyterian churches replaced a covered deck on a trailer, and then teamed with two local churches to frame up, wire, and plumb a new house for victims of devastating tornadoes in Glade Springs, Virginia.

In our initial project, 85 volunteers from several local churches combined talents and resources to replace windows, siding, insulation, and some roofing to transform the nearby home of a New Providence family member.
