2011
A group of 14 young adults participating in the New Providence Vacation Bible School built a deck and handicapped ramp to allow a disabled Buena Vista couple to enjoy the therapy of sunshine and fresh air.
In July 2011, workers from New Providence, Bethesda, and Lexington Presbyterian churches replaced a covered deck on a trailer, and then teamed with two local churches to frame up, wire, and plumb a new house for victims of devastating tornadoes in Glade Springs, Virginia.

Volunteers from New Providence and Fairfield Presbyterian built a double deck and wheelchair ramp for an elderly lady in Fairfield.
2008-2009
Bethesda Presbyterian members led a fall and winter campaign to extensively recondition a neighbor’s home in Rockbridge Baths.
2008
Fairfield and New Providence combined efforts to recondition and paint the home of a Brownsburg neighbor.
2007
In our initial project, 85 volunteers from several local churches combined talents and resources to replace windows, siding, insulation, and some roofing to transform the nearby home of a New Providence family member.
